Abstract

ABSTRAK Nama : Herry Heryanto Program Studi : D-III Keperawatan Judul : Penerapan Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Nutrisi Pada Pasien Tn. Y Dengan Diabetes Melitus (DM) Tipe 2 Di Lantai VI Paviliun Darmawan RSPAD Gatot Soebroto Latar Belakang: Diabetes Melitus tipe II atau disebut juga non insulin dependen diabetes melitus merupakan tipe DM dimana tubuh mampu menghasilkan insulin namun tidak mencukupi kebutuhan/kurang. Tujuan studi kasus Karya Tulis Ilmiah untuk melaksanakan Asuhan Keperawatan pada klien Tn. Y dengan Diabetes Melitus Tipe II dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan nutrisi. Metode: yang digunakan oleh penulis yaitu studi kasus deskriptif, yang menyeluruh didapatkan dari yang terperinci, dalam pengambilan data yang menyeluruh didapatkan dari berbagai sumber informasi. Studi kasus dilakukan pada tanggal 10 April 2023 sampai 12 April 2023 di Lantai VI Paviliun Darmawan RSPAD Gatot Soebroto. Hasil: dari Tindakan keperawatan selama 3x24 jam pada klien Tn. Y yaitu tanda-tanda vital TD: 142/90 mmHg, N: 80x/menit, S: 36,5°C, RR: 22x/menit, SPO2: 99%, klien tampak lemas, saat dikaji sakit klien mengatakan makan sedikit karena tidak menyukai makanan rumah sakit dan klien suka makan makanan yang manis, GDS klien 320 mg/dL, klien diberikan edukasi tentang diet DM (diet rendah karbohidrat, protein, gula, kalori) klien dibererikan terapi insulin 3x8 unit. Dapat disimpulkan klien belum dapat mempatuhi diet (diet rendah karbohidrat, protein,gula, kalori). Kesimpulan: yang didapatkan yaitu pada pasien penderita DM tipe II penting untuk mematuhi diet (diet rendah karbohidrat, protein, gula, kalori) untuk mengatasi ketidakstabilan kadar glukosa darah atau hiperglikemia. The purpose of the Scientific Writing case study is to carry out Nursing Care on the client Mr. Y with Type II Diabetes Mellitus in fulfilling nutritional needs. Method: used by the author, namely a descriptive case study, which is thoroughly obtained from the details, in collecting comprehensive data obtained from various sources of information. The case study was conducted from 10 April 2023 to 12 April 2023 on the VI Floor of the Darmawan Pavilion of the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital. Results: from nursing actions for 3x24 hours on the client Mr. Y, namely vital signs BP: 142/90 mmHg, N: 80x/minute, S: 36.5°C, RR: 22x/minute, SPO2: 99%, the client looks weak, when examined sick the client says he eats little because does not like hospital food and the client likes to eat sweet foods, the client's GDS is 320 mg/dL, the client is given education about the DM diet (a diet low in carbohydrates, protein, sugar, calories) the client is given insulin therapy 3x8 units. It can be concluded that the client has not been able to comply with the diet (low-carbohydrate diet, protein, sugar, calories). Conclusion: what is obtained is that in patients with type II DM it is important to adhere to a diet (diet low in carbohydrates, protein, sugar, calories) to overcome unstable blood glucose levels or hyperglycemia.
