Abstract

ABSTRAK Nama : Mozza Mayla Fayza Program Studi : Pendidikan Sarjana Keperawatan dan Profesi Ners Judul : Pengaruh Edukasi Diet DASH (Dietary Approaches To Stop Hypertension) Terhadap Tingkat Pengetahuan Dan Penurunan Tekanan Darah Pada Pasien Hipertensi Latar Belakang : Hipertensi merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan yang dapat dikendalikan melalui perubahan gaya hidup, termasuk penerapan diet DASH yang terbukti membantu menurunkan tekanan darah. Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi diet DASH terhadap tingkat pengetahuan dan tekanan darah pada pasien hipertensi di RS Islam Jakarta Cempaka Putih. Metode Penelitian : Penelitian menggunakan desain Pre- Eksperimental One Group Pretest–Posttest Design dengan sampel 28 responden yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Intervensi dilakukan melalui edukasi berupa ceramah dan leaflet, sedangkan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner pengetahuan serta pengukuran tekanan darah sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil : Analisis data menggunakan uji Shapiro– Wilk dan Wilcoxon karena sebagian data tidak berdistribusi normal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada tingkat pengetahuan (p value = 0,001 < 0,05) dan penurunan signifikan pada tekanan darah sistolik serta diastolik (p value = 0,001 < 0,05) setelah edukasi diberikan. Kesimpulan : berdasarkan uji Wilcoxon, edukasi diet DASH efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan pasien dan berkontribusi pada penurunan tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi. Background : Hypertension is a major health problem that can be controlled through lifestyle modifications, including the DASH diet, which has been shown to help reduce blood pressure. Objective : This study aimed to determine the effect of DASH diet education on knowledge levels and blood pressure among hypertensive patients at Jakarta Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital. Method : A Pre-Experimental One Group Pretest–Posttest Design was used with 28 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The intervention consisted of educational sessions delivered through lectures and leaflets, while data were collected using a knowledge questionnaire and blood pressure measurements before and after the intervention. Result : Data analysis was performed using the Shapiro–Wilk test and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test due to the non-normal distribution of some variables. The findings showed a significant increase in knowledge levels (p value = 0.001 < 0,05) and a significant reduction in both systolic and diastolic blood pressure (p value = 0.001 < 0,05) after receiving the education. Conclusion : In conclusion, DASH diet education is effective in improving patient knowledge and contributing to blood pressure reduction among individuals with hypertension.
