Abstract

ABSTRAK Nama : Salsabila Rahmanda Artanti Program Studi : Sarjana Keperawatan Judul : Hubungan Beban Kerja Dengan Mutu Pelayanan Keperawatan Di Ruang Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Rumah Sakit Islam Jakarta Cempaka Putih Tahun 2025 Latar Belakang : Perawat bekerja selama 24 jam dengan sistem shift, khususnya di Intensive Care Unit (ICU) yang menangani pasien dengan kondisi kritis dan mengancam nyawa. Tingginya tuntutan ketelitian, kecepatan, dan tanggung jawab, ditambah beban kerja yang melebihi kapasitas akibat keterbatasan tenaga dan banyaknya tugas, dapat menurunkan mutu pelayanan keperawatan. Studi pendahuluan menunjukkan adanya perbedaan tingkat beban kerja yang berkaitan dengan kualitas pelayanan keperawatan. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Sampel berjumlah 40 perawat ICU yang dipilih menggunakan total sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner beban kerja (20 item) dan kuesioner mutu pelayanan perawat (28 item). Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-square untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel. Hasil: perawat mengalami beban kerja rendah dengan mutu pelayanan kurang 0 (0%) sedangkan beban kerja sedang dengan mutu pelayanan cukup 7 (17,5%), beban kerja tinggi dengan mutu pelayanan baik 2 (5%). Kemudian untuk jumlah BOR rata-rata 75-85%. Uji Chi-square menunjukkan nilai p < 0,038, sehingga terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara beban kerja perawat dengan mutu pelayanan keperawatan di Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Rumah Sakit Islam Jakarta Cempaka Putih. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara beban kerja perawat dengan mutu pelayanan keperawatan di Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Beban kerja yang berlebihan dapat menurunkan mutu pelayanan keperawatan, sehingga diperlukan pengelolaan beban kerja yang efektif melalui pengaturan jumlah tenaga perawat, sistem kerja yang baik, dan dukungan manajemen untuk meningkatkan mutu pelayanan keperawatan di Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The high demands for accuracy, speed, and responsibility, coupled with workloads that exceed capacity due to limited personnel and numerous tasks, can reduce the quality of nursing care. Preliminary studies show that there is a difference in the level of workload related to the quality of nursing services. Method: This study used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 40 ICU nurses selected using total sampling. The research instruments were a workload questionnaire (20 items) and a nurse service quality questionnaire (28 items). Data analysis used the Chi-square test to determine the relationship between variables. Results: Nurses experienced low workload with poor service quality 0 (0%), moderate workload with adequate service quality 7 (17.5%), and high workload with good service quality 2 (5%). The average bed occupancy rate was 75-85%. The Chi-square test showed a p-value < 0.038, indicating a significant relationship between nurses' workload and the quality of nursing services in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Jakarta Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital.Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between nurses' workload and the quality of nursing services in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Excessive workload can reduce the quality of nursing services, so effective workload management is needed through the regulation of the number of nurses, a good work system, and management support to improve the quality of nursing services in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
