Abstract

ABSTRAK Nama : Gita Rahayu Program Studi : D-III Keperawatan Judul : Efektivitas Aromaterapi Minyak Essential Oil Lavender Terhadap Nyeri Pada Pasien Post Op Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Di Ruang Paviliun Eri Soedewo Lantai V RSPAD Gatot Soebroto V BAB + 66 Halaman + 6 Lampiran Latar belakang : Cholelithiasis merupakan gangguan pada kandung empedu yang dapat menyebabkan nyeri, terutama setelah tindakan operasi laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Nyeri pascaoperasi dapat mengganggu kenyamanan dan memperlambat proses pemulihan pasien, sehingga diperlukan penatalaksanaan yang tepat, baik secara farmakologis maupun nonfarmakologis. Salah satu terapi nonfarmakologis yang dapat digunakan adalah aromaterapi lavender yang memiliki efek relaksasi dan membantu menurunkan intensitas nyeri. Tujuan: Studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan efektivitas pemberian aromaterapi minyak esensial lavender terhadap penurunan nyeri pada pasien post operasi laparoscopic cholecystectomy di Ruangan Lantai V Paviliun Eri Soedewo RSPAD Gatot Soebroto. Metodologi: yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus melalui proses asuhan keperawatan yang meliputi pengkajian, diagnosis keperawatan, intervensi, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek studi kasus adalah seorang pasien perempuan usia 42 tahun dengan masalah keperawatan nyeri akut pascaoperasi. Intervensi dilakukan dengan pemberian aromaterapi lavender selama 10–15 menit selama tiga hari. Hasil : studi menunjukkan hasil akhir masalah teratasi sebagian, ditandai dengan pasien mengatakan skala nyeri menurun, pasien tidak meringis, dan nadi dalam batas normal. Kesimpulan : penerapan aromaterapi essential oil lavender efektif dalam mengatasi nyeri berhubungan dengan agen pencedera fisik laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Postoperative pain can interfere with patient comfort and slow down the recovery process; therefore, appropriate management is required, both pharmacological and non-pharmacological. One of the non-pharmacological therapies that can be used is lavender aromatherapy, which has a relaxing effect and helps reduce pain intensity. Objective: This case study aims to describe the effectiveness of lavender essential oil aromatherapy in reducing pain in post-laparoscopic cholecystectomy patients in the 5th Floor Ward, Pavilion Eri Soedewo, RSPAD Gatot Soebroto. Methodology: This study used a descriptive design with a case study approach through the nursing care process, including assessment, nursing diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The subject of this case study was a 42-year-old female patient with postoperative acute pain. The intervention was conducted by administering lavender aromatherapy for 10–15 minutes over three days. Results: The study showed that the problem was partially resolved, indicated by a decrease in pain scale reported by the patient, absence of grimacing, and vital signs within normal limits. Conclusion: The application of lavender essential oil aromatherapy is effective in managing pain related to physical injury agents following laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
