Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang : Salah satu penyebab langsung kematian ibu adalah Infeksi postpartum yang salah satunya disebabkan oleh luka perineum yang timbul akibat kurang terjaganya kebersihan perineum dan pengetahuan ibu yang kurang tentang perawatan luka perineum . Pengetahuan ibu tentang perawatan luka perineum sangat penting, dengan pengetahuan yang baik maka perawatan luka perineum dapat dilakukan dengan baik. Pengetahuan ini dapat diperoleh ibu pasca persalinan melalui media masa elektronik atau cetak, dan tenaga kesehatan . Selain itu, strategi perawatan pasca persalinan diperlukan sebagai upaya untuk penyembuhan luka perineumTujuan : Untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media video dan buku saku terhadap pengetahuan ibu post partum tentang perwatan luka perieneum. Metode : Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif quasy eksperimental dengan rancangan two group pre - test post test design Hasil : Berdasarkan hasil analisis efektivitas penggunaan media untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu tentang perawatan luka perineum pada ibu nifas terdapat hasil diketahui bahwa nila sig (2-tailed) < 0,05 maka terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai kelompok media vidio dan buku saku . Hasil bahwa peningkatan pengetahuan tentang perawatan luka perineum pad aibu nifas menggunakan media video sebesar 16,44 % sedangkan menggunakan media buku saku sebesar 15,88 % yang dapat diartikan peningkatan media buku video lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan media buku saku. Kesimpulan : Media video dan buku saku sama sama efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu post partum tentang perawatan luka perineum Kata Kunci : Post Partum , Pengetahuan, Perawatan Luka Perineum , Media Video , Buku Saku ABSTRACT Background: One of the direct causes of maternal death is postpartum infection, one of which is caused by perineal wounds that arise due to lack of perineal hygiene and the mother's lack of knowledge about perineal wound care. Mother's knowledge about perineal wound care is very important, with good knowledge, perineal wound care can be carried out well. This knowledge can be obtained by postpartum mothers through electronic or print mass media, and health workers. Apart from that, postpartum care strategies are needed as an effort to heal perineal wounds. Objective: To determine the effectiveness of using video media and pocket books on postpartum mothers' knowledge about caring for perineal wounds. Method: The type of research used in this research is quantitative quasi-experimental research with a two group pre-test post test design. Results: Based on the results of the analysis of the effectiveness of using media to increase mothers' knowledge about treating perineal wounds in postpartum mothers, it is known that the value of sig ( 2-tailed) < 0.05, then there is a significant difference between the scores of the video media group and the pocket book. The results showed that the increase in knowledge about perineal wound care in postpartum mothers using video media was 16.44%, while using pocket book media was 15.88%, which can be interpreted as a higher increase in video book media compared to pocket book media. Conclusion: Video media and pocket books are equally effective in increasing postpartum mothers' knowledge about perineal wound care.
