Abstract

ABSTRAK Nama : Yuliantika Program Studi : D3 Keperawatan Judul : Penerapan Aromaterapi Lavender pada An. C dengan Fraktur Femur dalam Nyeri Akut di Ruang PAIS Lantai I RSPAD Gatot Soebroto. Fraktur femur adalah diskontinuitas dari femoral shaft yang bisa terjadi akibat trauma secara langsung. Penanganan dari fraktur femur sendiri adalah operasi. penatalaksanaan nyeri pada pasien post operasi fraktur dapat dilakukan dengan teknik non-farmakologi yaitu teknik relaksasi dengan menggunakan aromaterapi lavender. Tujuan studi kasus ini adalah menggambarkan asuhan keperawatan Penerapan Aromaterapi Lavender pada An. C dengan Fraktur Femur dalam Nyeri Akut di Ruang PAIS Lantai I RSPAD Gatot Soebroto. Studi kasus ini menggunakan desain deskriptif mencangkup pengkajian secara intensif pada An.C berusia 10 tahun dengan fraktur femur, berjenis kelamin perempuan, tinggal bersama keluarga dan bersedia untuk dilakukan penerapan aromaterapi lavender selama 15 menit. Proses asuhan keperawatan dilakukan selama 3 hari di Ruang PAIS Lantai I RSPAD Gatot Soebroto. Hasil studi kasus terdapat penurunan intensitas nyeri pada An. C dari skala 6 menjadi skala 2. Kesimpulan studi kasus adalah penerapan aromaterapi lavender efektif dalam menurunkan intensitas nyeri pada An. C dengan fraktur femur post operasi ORIF. Femoral fracture is a discontinuity of the femoral shaft that can occur as a result of direct trauma. Treatment of a femur fracture itself is surgery. Pain management in postoperative fracture patients can be carried out using non-pharmacological techniques, namely relaxation techniques using lavender aromatherapy. The purpose of this case study is to describe the nursing care of the Application of Lavender Aromatherapy to An. C with Femoral Fractures in Acute Pain in the PAIS Room on the First Floor of the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital. This case study used a descriptive design covering an intensive study of 10-year-old An.C with a femoral fracture, female, living with family and willing to apply lavender aromatherapy for 15 minutes. The nursing care process was carried out for 3 days in the PAIS Room, Floor I, RSPAD Gatot Soebroto. The results of the case study showed a decrease in pain intensity in An. C from a scale of 6 to a scale of 2. The conclusion of the case study is that the application of lavender aromatherapy is effective in reducing pain intensity in An.
