Abstract
ABSTRAK Nama : Sabrina Apriliati Program Studi : S1 Kebidanan Judul : Pengaruh Edukasi Video Kartun Animasi Terhadap Pengetahuan Kesiapsiagaan Bencana Banjir Pada Anak Usia 9- 10 Tahun Di SDN Kali Baru 3 Bekasi Latar Belakang Banjir adalah salah satu bencana alam yang sering melanda Indonesia. Masalah pengetahuan mengenai kesiapsiagaan bencana banjir tetap menjadi fokus utama, terutama di tingkat sekolah dasar. Pengaruh banjir sangat dirasakan oleh kelompok rentan, seperti anak-anak. Namun, masih banyak sekolah yang kurang mengimplementasikan kesiapsiagaan bencana . Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan bencana adalah dengan memperluas pengetahuan melalui video edukasi animasi di sekolah, guna membentuk sikap kesiapsiagaan dan proaktif dalam menghadapi bencana sejak dini. Tujuan Penelitian mengetahui pengaruh edukasi melalui video kartun animasi terhadap pengetahuan kesiapsiagaan anak usia 9-10 tahun di SDN Kalibaru 3. Bekasi dalam menghadapi bencana banjir. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain Quasi Experimental dengan One-Group Pretest-Posttes Design yang melibatkan 62 siswa kelas IV. Data dikumpulkan dengan melakukan tes pengetahuan kesiapsiagaan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan edukasi menggunakan video kartun animasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon. Hasil Sebelum edukasi, 59.7% siswa memiliki pengetahuan baik. Setelah menonton video kartun animasi, 100% siswa menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan. Hasil uji statistik Wilcoxon menunjukkan p-Value = 0.001 ,bahwa ada pengaruh edukasi video kartun animasi terhadap pengetahuan kesiapsiagaan siswa SDN Kali Baru 3 dalam menghadapi bencana banjir. Kesimpulan Ada pengaruh edukasi video kartun animasi dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan kesiapsiagaan bencana banjir pada anak usi 9-10 tahun di SDN Kali Baru 3. Saran Perlunya penelitian lanjutan dengan memberikan intervensi berupa pelatihan dan pendidikan tentang kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi banjir dalam hal ini simulasi bencana agar dampak yang ditimbulkan dapat diminimalisir. The issue of knowledge regarding flood disaster preparedness remains a primary focus, especially at the elementary school level. The impact of floods is strongly felt by vulnerable groups, such as children. However, many schools still lack the implementation of disaster preparedness. One way to improve disaster preparedness is by expanding knowledge through animated educational videos in schools, in order to foster a preparedness and proactive attitude in facing disasters from an early age. Purepose The research investigates the impact of education through animated cartoon videos on the disaster preparedness knowledge of 9-10 year old children at SDN Kalibaru 3, Bekasi, in facing flood disasters. Method This research uses a quantitative method with a Quasi Experimental design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design involving 62 fourth-grade students. Data were collected by conducting preparedness knowledge tests before and after providing education using animated cartoon videos. Data analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon Test. Results Before the education, 59.7% of the students had good knowledge. After watching the animated cartoon video, 100% of the students showed a significant increase in knowledge. The results of the Wilcoxon statistical test showed a p-Value = 0.001, indicating that there is an influence of animated cartoon video education on the disaster preparedness knowledge of SDN Kali Baru 3 students in facing flood disasters Conclusion There is an influence of animated cartoon video education in increasing flood disaster preparedness knowledge among 9-10 year old children at SDN Kali Baru Suggestion The need for further research by providing interventions in the form of training and education on flood preparedness, specifically disaster simulations, so that the resulting impacts can be minimized.
