Abstract

ABSTRAK Nama Program Studi Judul : Dhea Setya Nuraini : Pendidikan Sarjana Keperawatan : Pengaruh Virtual Reality Terhadap Intensitas Nyeri Pasien Pasca Operasi Laparatomi Di Rspad Gatot Soebroto Latar belakang : Laparatomi merupakan tindakan bedah yang menyayat bagian dinding perut untuk memperoleh organ abdomen yang bermasalah. Tindakan bedah laparatomi menyebabkan rasa nyeri akut yang dapat berpengaruh pada kualitas tidur, mengganggu kenyamanan pasien, dan dapat menyebabkan pasien lebih lama di rumah sakit. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh virtual reality terhadap intensitas nyeri pasien pasca operasi laparatomi. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Pre Experimental dengan rancangan One Group Pre Test – Post Test Design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan intervensi virtual reality. Dengan jumlah responden 10 pasien menggunakan total sampling. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah secara statistik menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil : Analisis statistik dengan uji Wilcoxon menghasilkan p value sebesar 0,003 <0,05 menunjukan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan terapi virtual reality dalam mengurangi intensitas nyeri pada pasien. Simpulan dan saran : Virtual reality efektif dalam menurunkan intensitas nyeri pasien pasca operasi laparatomi dan diharapkan dapat diterapkan di rumah sakit untuk meningkatkan mutu pelayanan di rumah sakit. Peneliti selanjutnya dapat menerapkan pada jenis operasi lain untuk melihat apakah efek virtual reality konsisten pada berbagai jenis postoperatif dengan jumlah sampel yang lebih besar. Laparatomy surgery causes acute pain that can affect sleep quality, disturb patient comfort, and can cause patients to stay longer in the hospital. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of virtual reality on the pain intensity of patients after laparatomy surgery. Methods: This study used a Pre Experimental research design with a One Group Pre Test - Post Test Design. Data collection was carried out by performing virtual reality interventions. With the number of respondents 10 patients using total sampling. The data obtained was then statistically processed using the Wilcoxon test. Results: Statistical analysis with the Wilcoxon test resulted in a p value of 0.003 <0.05, indicating a significant effect of virtual reality therapy in reducing pain intensity in patients. Conclusions and suggestions: Virtual reality is effective in reducing the pain intensity of patients after laparatomy surgery and is expected to be applied in hospitals to improve the quality of service in hospitals. Future researchers can apply to other types of surgery to see if the effect of virtual reality is consistent in various types of postoperative with a bigger sample.
