Abstract

ABSTRAK Nama : Azzahra Iman Nazwa Program Studi : Sarjana Keperawatan Judul : Hubungan Tingkat Pengetahuan, Riwayat Anemia,dan Pemberian ASI Eksklusif terhadap kejadian Stunting pada Anak Balita di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Teluk Pucung Kota Bekasi. Latar Belakang : Stunting merupakan masalah gizi kronis yang berdampak pada pertumbuhan fisik, perkembangan kognitif, serta kesehatan jangkanpanjang anak, Faktot-faktor seperti tingkat pengetahuan ibu, riwayat anemia selama kehamilan, dan pemberian ASI eksklusif memiliki peran penting dalam mempengaruhi kejadian Stunting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan ibu, riwayat anemia, dan pemberian ASI eksklusif terhadap kejadian Stunting pada anak balita di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Teluk Pucung Kota Bekasi. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 80 ibu yang memiliki balita berisiko Stunting, dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunsksn Chi-square dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,05. Hasil : hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya hubungan signifikan antara tingkat penegtahuan ibu dengan kejadian Stunting (p-value = 0,005). Ketiga variabel tersebut terbukti memiliki kontribusi penting terhadap status pertumbuhan balita. Kesimpulan : tingkat pengetahuan ibu, riwayat anemia selama kehamilan, dan praktik pemberian ASI eksklusif berhubungan signifikan dengan kejadian stunting. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar pengembangan program edukasi, pencegahan anemia, dan peningkatan cakupan ASI eksklusif untuk mengurangi angka stunting. Factors such as maternal knowledge, history of anemia during pregnancy, and exclusive breastfeeding practices play an important role in influencing the incidence of stunting. This study aims to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge level, history of anemia, and exclusive breastfeeding with the incidence of stunting among children under five in the work area of Puskesmas Teluk Pucung, Bekasi City. Methods : This research used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 80 mothers with children under five who were at risk of stunting, selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using the Chi-square test with a significance level of 0.05. Results : The findings show a significant relationship between maternal knowledge and stunting (p-value = 0.000), history of anemia and stunting (p-value = 0.001), and exclusive breastfeeding and stunting (p-value = 0.005). These three variables were proven to have an important contribution to the growth status of children under five. Conclusion : Maternal knowledge, history of anemia during pregnancy, and exclusive breastfeeding practices are significantly associated with the incidence of stunting. This study is expected to serve as a basis for developing educational programs, anemia prevention strategies, and improving exclusive breastfeeding coverage to reduce stunting rates.
