Abstract

ABSTRAK Nama : Fuji Laura Hendrajat Program Studi : S1 Keperawatan Judul skripsi : Pengaruh Slow Stroke Back Massage dengan Minyak Zaitun Terhadap Pencegahan Dekubitus pada Pasien Stroke di Unit Stroke RSPAD Gatot Soebroto Stroke merupakan salah satu penyakit tidak menular yang menjadi penyebab kematian tertinggi di dunia dan sering menimbulkan komplikasi serius, salah satunya adalah dekubitus. Pasien stroke dengan keterbatasan mobilitas memiliki risiko tinggi mengalami dekubitus akibat tekanan berkepanjangan, gesekan, dan gangguan sirkulasi darah. Upaya pencegahan dekubitus perlu dilakukan secara optimal untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien stroke. Salah satu intervensi nonfarmakologis yang dapat diterapkan adalah slow stroke back massage. Terapi ini dipercaya mampu meningkatkan sirkulasi darah, menjaga integritas kulit, serta memberikan efek relaksasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh slow stroke back massage dengan menggunakan minyak zaitun terhadap pencegahan dekubitus pada pasien stroke. Minyak zaitun dipilih karena memiliki kandungan asam oleat yang tinggi sehingga dapat menjaga kelembapan kulit dan mendukung proses pencegahan luka tekan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimental pada pasien stroke di unit stroke RSPAD Gatot Soebroto. Intervensi dilakukan melalui pemberian slow stroke back massage selama 10 menit setiap sesi. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan dengan minyak zaitun dalam menurunkan risiko terjadinya dekubitus pada pasien stroke. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar penerapan intervensi keperawatan nonfarmakologis dalam pencegahan dekubitus pada pasien stroke. Stroke patients with limited mobility are at high risk of developing pressure ulcers due to prolonged pressure, friction, and impaired blood circulation. Therefore, optimal preventive measures are necessary to improve the quality of life of stroke patients. One non- pharmacological intervention that can be applied is slow stroke back massage. This therapy is believed to enhance blood circulation, maintain skin integrity, and provide a relaxation effect. This study aims to determine the effect of slow stroke back massage using olive oil on the prevention of pressure ulcers in stroke patients. Olive oil was selected due to its high oleic acid content, which helps maintain skin moisture and supports the prevention of pressure injuries. The research method used was a quantitative study with an experimental approach conducted on stroke patients in the stroke unit of RSPAD Gatot Soebroto. The intervention consisted of administering slow stroke back massage for 10 minutes per session. The results of this study are expected to demonstrate a significant effect of slow stroke back massage with olive oil in reducing the risk of pressure ulcer development in stroke patients. This study is expected to serve as a basis for the implementation of non- pharmacological nursing interventions in the prevention of pressure ulcers among stroke patients.
