Abstract
ABSTRAK Komunikasi yang efektif saat serah terima pasien memiliki peran penting dalam menjamin kesinambungan asuhan keperawatan serta meningkatkan kepuasan kerja perawat. Metode SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) merupakan pendekatan komunikasi terstruktur yang banyak digunakan dalam praktik keperawatan. Tujuan:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara komunikasi SBAR saat serah terima dengan kepuasan kerja perawat di ruang rawat inap RSUP Sitanala Tangerang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 84 perawat ruang rawat inap yang dipilih menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner, dan analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman’s rho. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar perawat memiliki komunikasi SBAR yang baik dan tingkat kepuasan kerja yang tinggi. Analisis bivariat menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara komunikasi SBAR saat serah terima dengan kepuasan kerja perawat (p = 0,004; r = 0,310). Terdapat hubungan positif antara komunikasi SBAR saat serah terima dengan kepuasan kerja perawat. Penerapan komunikasi SBAR secara konsisten diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kepuasan kerja perawat serta memperbaiki kualitas pelayanan keperawatan. Kata kunci: komunikasi SBAR, timbang terima, kepuasan kerja perawat. x ABSTRACT Effective communication during patient handover plays an essential role in ensuring continuity of nursing care and nurses’ job satisfaction. The SBAR method (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) is widely used as a structured communication approach in nursing practice. This study aimed to determine the relationship between SBAR communication during handover and nurses’ job satisfaction in the inpatient wards of RSUP Sitanala Tangerang. This study employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 84 inpatient nurses selected using proportional random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Spearman’s rho correlation test. The results showed that most nurses demonstrated good SBAR communication and high levels of job satisfaction. Bivariate analysis indicated a significant relationship between SBAR communication during handover and nurses’ job satisfaction (p = 0.004; r = 0.310) There is a positive relationship between SBAR communication during handover and nurses’ job satisfaction. Consistent implementation of SBAR communication is expected to enhance nurses’ job satisfaction and improve the quality of nursing services Keywords: SBAR communication, handover, job satisfaction nurses.
