Abstract

ABSTRAK Nama : Siti Zahwa Ameilany Program Studi : D3 Keperawatan Judul : Efektivitas Terapi Inhalasi Uap Sederhana terhadap Masalah Jalan Nafas Tidak Efektif pada Anak dengan Limfoma di RSPAD Gatot Soebroto Anak dengan limfoma sering mengalami masalah jalan nafas tidak efektif akibat komplikasi penyakit dan efek samping kemoterapi. Masalah ini dapat menurunkan kualitas hidup, menyebabkan kesulitan bernapas, dan meningkatkan risiko infeksi. Terapi inhalasi uap sederhana merupakan intervensi non-farmakologis yang dapat membantu memperbaiki efektivitas jalan nafas. Kti ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas terapi inhalasi uap sederhana dalam meningkatkan efektivitas jalan nafas pada anak dengan limfoma di RSPAD Gatot Soebroto. menggunakan studi kasus dengan pendekatan pre-test dan post-test. Subjek penelitian adalah an,s usia 16 tahun dengan limfoma yang mengalami masalah bersihan jalan nafas tidak efektif. Intervensi diberikan berupa inhalasi uap sederhana dengan air hangat dan minyak kayu putih. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi wawancara yang dilakukan dengan pemberian askep. Hasil yang di dapatkan adalah An. S mengalami perbaikan status pernapasan yang ditandai dengan penurunan RR menjadi 22 kali/menit, SpO2 stabil 97%, ronki tidak terdengar, sekret lebih encer dan mudah dikeluarkan, serta sesak napas berkurang dengan skor Borg 3. Kondisi ini menunjukan perbaikan kondisi yang signifikan dan menjadikan Terapi inhalasi uap sederhana efektif sebagai intervensi non-farmakologis untuk meningkatkan efektivitas jalan nafas pada anak dengan limfoma dan dapat dijadikan komplementer dalam praktik keperawatan pediatrik. Children with lymphoma often experience ineffective airway clearance problems due to complications of the disease and side effects of chemotherapy. This problem can reduce quality of life, cause difficulty breathing, and increase the risk of infection. Simple steam inhalation therapy is a non-pharmacological intervention that can help improve airway effectiveness. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of simple steam inhalation therapy in improving airway effectiveness in children with lymphoma at RSPAD Gatot Soebroto. Using a case study with a pre-test and post-test approach. The study subject was a 16-year-old child with lymphoma who experienced ineffective airway clearance problems. The intervention was given in the form of simple steam inhalation with warm water and eucalyptus oil. Data were collected through observational interviews conducted with nursing care. The results obtained were of An. S experienced an improvement in respiratory status marked by a decrease in RR to 22 times/minute, stable SpO2 97%, no audible rhonchi, thinner and easier to expel secretions, and reduced shortness of breath with a Borg score of 3. This condition shows a significant improvement in condition and makes simple steam inhalation therapy effective as a non-pharmacological intervention to improve airway effectiveness in children with lymphoma and can be used as a complement in pediatric nursing practice.
